We recognize that the value of a site like this depends on engaged, thoughtful curation and not on automated algorithms.

The genesis of this site is simple, we set out to build the site that we would most want to see...the site that would be the most useful tool for own professional skill sets, the site that would constantly challenge us to think in new ways about the online world in which we live and at the same time provide a constantly updating resource for best practices in the main areas of our work - web development.
